It seems that a nasty bug infected my system and changed
the "Opens with" parameter for the "Application", "MS-Dos
Application", and "MS-Dos Batch File" file types
to "SVCHOST".  I removed the virus, however, I am stuck

For the past several weeks, Explorer runs on my PC full

Someone touched too many keys on my home computer and now
everything is LARGE on the display.  Icons are larger,
background picture, etc.  When opening applications, they

I have ghosted a drive from an older PC and am trying to
install it in a new computer. When booting up I get the
message: While Initializing device NDIS. Windows

I uninstalled some downloaded sound programs and now I don't have any sound at all. I lost the little speaker icon from the bar at the bottom of my window.
Windows Media Player seems to be playing, but I don't hear anything.

I need to restrict or remove access to the "time" command in Win98.
So far I haven't found anything via the MS KB or Google / Google Groups.
(Also tried the "System Policy Editor").
Anyone have any thoughts or suggestions where to look?
