I used to be able to click on an icon that was associated with photos to open them.  That is no longer the case.  The exisiting icon now shows a Microsoft flag logo and clicking on the icon opens a dialogue stating to browse for the exe. file.  I do not know what happened or how ...

I need some advice about my system. When I star up the
computer the program 'ctrlpan.dll' cannot load. the window
opens as a message that says, 'cannot open
c:\windows\system\ctrolpan.dll '  I have re-installed

I am getting this error message"Attribute raw read error
rate changes from 195 to 196. I click ok and it goes away.
I know it doesn't hurt anything but it is a nuisance.

If I boot into windows normal mode and run "standard"
scandisk of drive d, no problem is found. But if I boot
into windows safe mode and run "standard" scandisk of
drive d, messages appear on the screen instructing me to

When first booted up, my network logon password is found
to be incorrect and I receive an error message.  If I
reboot at this error message, the same password serves
fine and is accepted second time around.

Currently, I'm using the usenet server that my ISP supplies, but I would
rather use the Microsoft usenet server because there are many more postings.
This is due to the fact that the Microsoft usenet server have much more

I am trying to print to a printer that is hooked up to a
