  When I first went to several of my folders lastnight -
I thought someone had hacked into my harddrive and deleted
a bunch of folders.

When the regular shut down routine reaches the point where
the screen says "Windows is Shutting Down " it no longer

On one of the computers I use, it has been somehow modified so that when you right click, you can no longer go to the new file menu. This of course is very frustrating, being unable to make new folders, etc without having to open up a program first. Can any tell me how this could ...

I am trying to turn on the thubnail preview (i.e. when you
single click on a picture file, it shows the thumbnail in
the lower left).  I have all of the folder settings to
view as a web page, but it still does not work.  Any ideas?

my computer started displaying all my graphics in 16
colors and 640x480 yesterday. when i try to change it back
to 1024x768 and 32-bit color, it restarts but stays with

When I boot up my computer, the windows flag displays nice
& bright like it always has in the past.  My problem
begins when the desktop displays.  It appears as though it

OK,
My problem is,I installed A 40gb harddrive in an HP 4535 formatted ok but my pc would not reconized the harddrive WHY?
BUT when I installed winXP which was from A DELL in the HP it took.
And it gets "real" interesting because the winXP was in another pc I get to use it for 30 ...

says "System.INI, need to run Windows setup again to find
the file."  Then the machine shuts down on me. I cannot
find the old Win 98 Startup disks.  Any ideas?
