  I would like to be able to download the latest drivers for my
Microsoft Sidewinder Precision 2 Joystick for 98SE.  The website has only
version 3.0.2 and my cd had version 4.  I have been unable to locate my
cd.  Do I need to contact Microsoft for a new cd or can I find the ...

Hi, I just noticed that when I post on NG`s, In the Sent colum the time is
an hour in front of when I actually sent it(if I post one at 11.00 it shows
as being sent at 12.00) this one posted 11.30. Any ideas? is this normal?

I recently replaced the monitor on a Windows 98 se
machine.  The monitor was recognized and works fine,
except for that the mouse pointer now leaves the pointer
arrow behind whenever you stop and then move the pointer

When I try to change the font, size or spacing of my
icons, The hourglass pointer appears for several minutes
but no change. Then when I move the mouse again the
hourglass is back. CTRL-ALT-DELETE indicates that "Display

I seem to have a persisting problem when i start windows
98. The error prompt is Windows Registry Checker found an
error and will restart windows to correct it.  But even
after repeated restarts this error dosent seem to go.

I have a Japanese Dell notebook computer which I bought in
Tokyo whilst working there. The Japanese version of
Windows 98 finally got so annoying I installed an english
language version of Windows 98. However, now the keyboard

I would like some advise on resolving, I explorer caused a

I am trying to install a SCSI C ard to operate a scanner using WIN 98SE. When I out the card in the PCI slot and reboot I get an indictaion that EMM386 can not function correctly. It does this with every PCI slot. Any suggestiong as to how to resolve this?

I remember this .wav file that I liked on Win98, that was
in the System Sounds files, I think  ...that sounded
sorta like a small group of children giggling...sort of
an electronic version of that, anyway.  I've tested ALL
