I am unable to start my computer in the safe mode even
though I keep tapping f8 while it is startin up.  I
highlight safe mode and it starts up in regular mode.

One of my friend is using Win 98. Month appears
as "December" when he double clicks on the time in
systray. Whenever he tries to change it to August, again
it appears as "December".

Because of the error, some programs refuse to run. They'll boot up, then shut
down for no particular reason. Is there any way around this problem? I've

I tried to defrag my machine. It hanged after 80% completion and
Alt-ctrl-del would not respond at all. So I Reset the machine. Now
when I try to reboot the machine beeps continuously (like a siren).
The monitor only says "Check Signal Please". I pressed Ctrl key but
