I did the supplement download for shut down and IT DID NOT
CORRECT ANYTHING!. I want to simply check my whole Win
system but I don't know what that is called or where can I
find ANYTHING on the Microsoft web site that can give me a

I have Win XP Home. I need to add a new user and when I go into the
Users Windo from the control panel all I get is a blank window with a
header at the top that says "User Accounts"

I give up. I'vr been playing, and googling for a few days now.
The computer is a HP kayak XU 6/266. 128 Meg RAM. 4.2 Gig HD (SCSI). CD ROM
(IDE).
The computer has trouble every time it boots. It is missing msmouse.vxd. Then

I rebooted my computer and all the sudden my computer is
running on 24hr time.  How do I change it back.

When i click on my computer on my desktop,or when i try to
upload a pic by clicking on the browse button,everything
freezes.Also now i get a blank white page after im online
for 15 min or so and i cant do anything...Thanks!!!!!

I have been going nuts trying to keep my boys from
downloading any and every free game/tool the web.  I use
boot pws and scrnsvr pws but they always manage to scam

Would anyone know how to shutdown computer from MSDOS in
win 98se(Restart in Msdos mode). I used the command "exit"
which only reboots to the os choice menu.

I have previously posted this under windows 98 Browser -
but did not receive a response - so I am posting here in
hopes of getting some help.  So I apologize for the

When I restart my computer it gets to the desktop screen
and then the mouse pointer and or hour glass locks up and
I have to turn off the power and restart.  This does not

taskbar settings such as "auto hide" and "show small
icons" will return to a default setting upon the next
normal bootup.
