When i put in a upgrade for my RAM my computer monitor
suddenly got a yellow tint and I dont know how to get it
off.    Any help would be appecated.

I installed a PCMI port from D-link and it installed Adobe
and Acrobat then windows crashed.  It comes up with the CD-
rom and says that a device file required to run Windows or
a Windows application is missing and that windows registry

I have been trying to defrag my system, but keep getting
this message "drive's contents changed: resarting" this
happens every time usaully when I get to about %5
complete. Also when I try to scan disk I get a message

when i do a control alt delete it shows me that msimn is
not responding. I did a search for it and found 1 item.
When i clicked on it outlook express opened. ever since i
have had this problem it is interfearing with my voice

I have installed Zone Alarm and my computer is very slow
and the windows won't open and some websites won't open.  
Without any virus program on it works okay.  There are a
whole bunch of things checked in the "msconfig" box.  Do I

can anyone help---I had to reload off my recovery disk
The Word icon comes up on  the screen--but when I try to
open it I get a not registered msg/something that says
code is invalid.

Going through
Win98>START>programs>accessories>systemtools>scandisk(and
defrag)-nothing happens.  Can scandisk from DOS but not
thru Windows!  Any suggestions?

UPDATED 98 VERSION.  I ALSO HAVE COMCAST CABLE INTERNET
SERICE.  ANY IDEA ON WHAT TO DO TO SPEED UP COMPUTER???

As it says above my PC just keeps locking up for no
apparent reason at apparently random times. It seems to
affect any of the programmes I use. The mouse will freeze
and the PC will not accept any input, not even CTRL-ALT-
page fault in explorer24 Aug 2004 20:48 GMT2
On boot up (both in Safe mode and regular) I get an
error "Explorer causes an invalid page fault in module
Explorer.exe at 0167:00401f31".
I've restored previous versions of the registry (no luck)
