I currenlty have a serious problem with my pc and I am
thinking that an upgrade my be my only way out.  I have 98
and something evil happened not sure what.  However now
when i start up the PC it acts like I am loading the OS.

I have been reading that it is a good idea to back up these registry files.
I located them in the Windows folder and found that they are described as
NeroMediaPlayer media files, and are associated with that file type, and
have that icon! Double clicking on them "opens" them in ...

I have the free Adobe reader and when I click on a link in the Web
without realizing that the file is a .pdf, the Adobe reader starts to
load, and that darn splash screen hangs there for at least a minute.
The thing is, if I had known it was a .pdf file I wouldn't have clicked

AT Start-Up I get an error message: "fnUneostor2 open
failed".
