I am getting "Explorer caused a General Protection Fault
in Module KRNL386.EXE" and various other GPFs and Fatal
excption errors.  I have switched motherboards and RAM,
run regclean, uninstalled unnecessary programs, run virus

Win 98 SE, when clicking on Start->Programs, the only
folder that pops up is Startup.  All other program folders
are gone.  Any ideas???

I have two basic questions where I need help.  When I

checked that the windows 98 could be used on my old

I have always clicked on my msdos icon on the desktop to open a dos box to run
list and sd, etc. It stopped working! I deleted the icon, created a new one
(select command.com in c:\), Still doesnt work. ANyone know why? How to get it
back??

When I try to copy and paste a picture to a floppy disk I get a message
"unable to create and store scrap/shortcut object.  No such interface
supported.  What interface are they talking about and how do I get support

My XP system refuses to show the animation for gif files.
I've checked the options in "internet options" table.
I don't tend to tinker with options so the system should be pretty much as
