Is there some way to find out when certain documents in my computer were last

I have a fairly clean, recent install of Win98SE. I have installed some
security programs...AdAware, BHODemon, Avast, RegClean, and updated to all
the latest IE6 and Win98 critical updates, driver update for IntelPro100 and
.net Framework and Media Player 9.

Says I am missing the path  VMM32.VXD  says I should

I ended up deleting Quicktime (I hope) and installing IrfanView which is
great.  All my   .jpg  icons turned to this  red cross IrfanView icon, but
