What is the C:\temp folder used for? It has gotten quite large.
Windows deletes its "Temporary files" (which,  I presume, are in the
C:\Windows\TEMP folder,) when I use its Disk Cleanup (TUNEUP.EXE) feature,
but this maintenance doesn't seem to touch the C:\temp folder.

Whenever CBS Sportsline (CBS.SportsLine.com) is up on IE6, my soundcard goes south...ie:...none of the players WMP, Real etc. will produce any sound. I've sent their website an alert about it but haven't heard anything. What do you think is up here?
