I had my computer in for service and now my screen doesn't go to the edge of my monitor. It's like I have a smaller monitor because the edges are not being used. It's like a frame.

What is the C:\temp folder used for? It has gotten quite large. Windows deletes its "Temporary files" (which, I presume, are in the C:\Windows\TEMP folder,) when I use its Disk Cleanup (TUNEUP.EXE) feature, but this maintenance doesn't seem to touch the C:\temp folder.

Whenever CBS Sportsline (CBS.SportsLine.com) is up on IE6, my soundcard goes south...ie:...none of the players WMP, Real etc. will produce any sound. I've sent their website an alert about it but haven't heard anything. What do you think is up here? Sasha
