When I start up Windows 98 there is an error message:
Vshwin32 -- This program has performed an illegal
operation and will be shut down.  The system is now
sluggish and freezes up more often than usual.  Also, I

When I try and open a file with a    .eml   extension, I
get "Windows cannot find MailClnt.exe .  This program is
needed for opening files of type "Earthlink Mail
Message".  Where do I get this program?

Here We Go Again...
A clients mother visited for the weekend and inadvertently
lost or locked up files and data on my DELL DIMENSION PC.

Ok so here's the thing.
I know my win98se is very tired. I have over 100 items in my start/programs
menu. My IE has a red x problem which after much research suggests I need to
do a full re-install ( so instead of doing that I installed netscape, but

My cousin is a college student on a tight budget who received a computer in
good condition. It has Windows 98 First Edition on it. He is in no position
to afford a more recent version of Windows. I would like to give him my copy
of Windows 98 Second Edition, which I no longer use.

After downloading Media Player 9 I noticed that on some of
my applications some text has been replaced by empty
boxes. On Messenger 6.2, in the my status area by name is
replaced by these boxes but my status displays okay.  I

I have a PC. My kids have thier own PC. I have an ISP I
like. Have a dedicated phone line just for the PCs. One of
my kids stuck in one of those free AOL IP CDs you get in
the mail. He logged into it. Started to set up an account

One of my Windows 98 notebook has something wrong with
it's minimize/close buttons, they all changed to numbers.
(I tried to restore the system, but the NB won't let me do
this, it need an upgradable version.)

If you could elaborate on what driver and where you
downloaded it from what video card it is. Is this a new
card, if not did you unnstall the old one first >??
