MSVIP's; I just came across a "TMP Folder" in C:/Windows containing about 576 files ranging from 1KB to 32KB. Is this another one of those things everyone knows about but me?

I am running Window 98SE on IBM. My C:\Windows\Application Data\Identities directory has 32 identities in it, and the only files within each identity are files in \Microsoft\Outlook Express subfolder.

I am running Win98se on a bog standard desktop PC. I was having several problems with the system including some difficulty with my Viatec graphics controller. problems were only solved by restoring my system from a very recent backup.

Win 98SE recently reinstalled. Now when I turn the computer on, green power light is on but computer doesn't go anywhere. Must now hold power button for about 3 sec before it powers down. Immediately pushing power works
