I just came across a "TMP Folder" in C:/Windows containing
about 576 files ranging from 1KB to 32KB. Is this another
one of those things everyone knows about but me?

I am running Window 98SE on IBM.  
My C:\Windows\Application Data\Identities directory has 32 identities
in it, and the only files within each identity are files in
\Microsoft\Outlook Express subfolder.

Win 98SE recently reinstalled.  Now when I turn the
computer on, green power light is on but computer doesn't
go anywhere.  Must now hold power button for about 3 sec

Recently, I was told that Norton Systemworks is not good
for w98 se.  Is this true?  Why?
It also keeps finding the same registry problems, says it
fixes them, but the problems show up again on the next
