My taskbar has moved to the vertical position on my screen
while the icons remain vertical beside it. how do I change
the taskbar to the bottom of the display?

Under Windows 98 (not SE), when the scrollbar is used on
larger web pages, regardless of the browser used (i.e. IE
or Netscape), the entire system will lock up and not even
CTRL-ALT-DEL will help - power-down becomes necessary.

Today I received the error message "your resources are
dangerously low" - do you want to close the following
programs:  Explorer Gmt  Cmsys  AvgCC32  Loadqm  Wjview

(40 GB HD-D) / P4 2.0 GHz / 1 GB Sdram / IE6 SP-1 fully patched.
System was working fine, and then I decided to learn how to use Ad-Aware SE

In setting up a macjine I changed the Resolution from 16
bit hi color to 24 bit true and rebooted as instructed.

Can anyone tell me how, if it's possible, to move the folder
C:\WINDOWS\TEMP permanently to another partition?  
That's the folder and not just the files within it (which I know
can be deleted).

I tried to download the DirectX 9.0c compatible adapter so
our new Sims2 game would work and it acts like it
downloads but keeps saying failed to find any DirectX9.0c

Okay, so everything in my computer is GONE.  I was
cleaning out some things that I don't use anymore and all
of a sudden the whole screen went purple (the color of my

I have a friend with a laptop who has W95 as an operating system and wants
me to put 98SE on it.  The laptop has no CD player in it.  What's the best
way to do this with out using diskettes.  Crossover cable with networking?
External CD-Rom?  Best application program might be?  Not ...
