Due to several conflicts and missing files i have come to the conclusion that i must reload windows 98 disk but due to the fact that my cd rom isnt working due to it going missing i cant do that so i have to reinstall it somehow

There are duplicate "Favorites" folders in Windows Explorer. One in the Windows folder and one in "My Documents." "My Documents" is up to date whereas the Windows Favorites only lists up to a year ago or so. Can I delete the Windows Favorites folder? Sasha

I have a page fault when I open a window or go to the web. A pop up box informs me that I have done an illegal operation. When I press for details, here is the response. I think it first started when I up dated my windows 98 me from Microsoft. Any suggestions?
