I had 98 on my computer and all my work files on the
desktop. I have a windows XP Upgrade CD that I used to
upgrade my computer. I did the fresh install and not the
Upgrade install. I also changed the file system from Fat

    Got hit by an ugly virius, did recove thank you
VirusBuster II.  Had to reload win98 from the cd.  Loost
all the updates...   of course the update manager dose not
know this...  thinks I stll have them.

I have reduced my graphic card accelerator slider to ?None?. But
afterward I still (sometimes) find an error message which says ?Fatal
error blah.. blah.. blah..? and ?Kmixer? in the middle of it. I
scanned it and found no error with my windows. What should I do???

Hi, I have an old laptop w/tiny 4gb harddrive that's
usually almost full. I thus often have trouble doing
things like moving lots of files because of the space
consumed by the temporary folder that gets filled in the

Have installed the driver for  a Sony USM256U2 flash drive
from it's disc and have also downloaded it from the sony web-site
however my computer will not detect the flash drive. My
scanner works fine in the same USB port.

I use a dual boot win98/winXp pc. Recently win98 is not
loading properly giving an error message, "an exception 0D
occured at 2017:0000036E", and starts in safe mode when I
restart it and choose that option. What is this error? Is
