I am using Win 98se with USB 1.0.  I've just installed a PCI card with 5 USB
2.0 sockets. It seems to have installed OK but is there a way to test that
it's working as Ver 2.0 and not ver 1.0 ?

Shut down computer and turn on later, maybe next day,

iv recv a messg saying a device file no longer exists in
Windows registry or system.ini and if i stiil want to use
it--to reinstall the application to replace the missing
file---it then has---cshook.vxd   as im new to comp.any

Used to have my screensaver password protected.  After so call
"administrative" played around with my computer no longer have the tab
"screensaver" in my control panel under DISPLAY.  How do I get it back?

I'm trying to find a user extensible policy that will allow access to
printers but not the rest of the control panel.  Can someone point me to
such a policy?
