I am running Windows 98SE and I don't get the "Its OK to
shut down your computer message".  It simply shuts down.

My mother has windows 98 and the magnifier kept coming on at start up.  I
uninstalled the magnifier thru the add/remove/set up menu.  But every time
you start her computer a screen comes on that says it can't find the short
cut for the magnifier and when you try and cancel it.  ...

I have Win95 SE installed on an HP 7477 desktop and when I try to use it under DOS it assumes an US
keyboard layout. I have the appropriate code for UK layout in AUTOEXEC.BAT but this is ineffective
in these circumstances altho' ok with Windows. I remember a similar happening years ...

Up until a few hours ago, my system was using High Color (16 bits).
Now, all of the sudden, it seems to be stuck at 16 colors.

I just notice that the clock at the bottom right hand
corner of the screen no longer keep saccurate atime and
date. I ahve reset the time and adte several time today

my system motherboard is not working and i have changed
both motherboard and processor, now what should i do to
make my windows run fine? should i delete any drivers
folder?
