I was trying to Scan Disk & defrag. I could not get past 0%. I went up to
the Misconfig and found 2 start ups checked. I unchecked them. Then I was
able to Scan Disk and defrag.They were
"C:\ProgramFiles\ComsumerInput\consumerInput.exe and

Can anyone tell me why I get a error message saying access denied on page

I slid the conrolfor my screen size from 800x 600 pixels
to the smallest size - and clicked on apply - now - I
realise I made a BAD decision and I need to slide it back
up to 800 x 600 pixels -b but when the grey box comes up

   I have two issues with WIN98:
1.    When I double click on the "Date/Time" function
in the Control Panel or in the Task Bar the screen

I have been getting a "Client Status" error message on
several Windows 98 SE computers lately. Does anyone know
what causes this or how to fix it?

Have one light stay on when computer is off. Major problem as
it is drawing power from the battery, on even unplugged.
Anyone know why this is happening?? I am going insane it seems.

Ever since a friend emailed me a picture in Quicktime
format, all my pictures are now in Quiktime format. How
do I get them back to the default program that comes with
windows 98SE? It even corrupted some of my picture files.

I am unable to open email or internet explorer or any
desktop files. When I alt control delete, I see that
explorer(windows explorer is not responding).

not allow either to work  if both are connected.
If I disconnect the modem the phone works

I have an Epson Stylus Color 800 and haven't been able to print lately.
I've tried the printer at my neighbor with my cable, and it worked.  So it
must be somethign wrong with my pc instead.
Before testing it at my neighbor, the pc complained that the printer was

When I start my toshiba laptop using windows 98, I receive
the following error message:
The following file is missing or corrupt: COMMAND.COM. Type
the name of the Command Interpreter.
