When I right click IE on the desktop, and select properties, nothing
happens.  When I right click IE on the desktop, and select properties a 2nd

I recently noticed that if my machine crashes and I need to reboot,
scandisk doesn't kick in on bootup - you know, the one you normally
bypass by hitting the space bar [yes, I know I shouldn't].  It just
boots right up as if I'd just switched on.

I have been having a hard time running defrag on my system
(WIN 98).  I shut down all of my running programs (even
checking a processing program that tells me what's

How important is a J_API32.DLL file, or is it a trojan,
and also the powrprof.dll file, trojan too? If both are
needed, where do I get them. Have WIN98SE, zone alarm,

I've recently been trying to install personal web server
from my Win 98 SE operating system
but keep getting 2 error messages when running setup which

I have a friends PC here, running Win98, but will not go into Windows.
It reports a problem with the HDD. I am trying to run scandisk but that
hangs. I am also trying to run a HDD diagnostic utility.
If I get lucky and "fix" the drive -can I do a "repair" install to Win
