Got a question am hoping that someone out there can help me with.
Here goes, I have a machine which is running windows 98SE recently it has
developed a small
problem. When you use the dial up networking to go online the modem grabs it

Booted system to the BIOS Setup>> Set as Default and
Exit.>> Restarted.  - Success
Booted to Advanced Startup Menu>> Initialised setup.
Failed to boot for the first time.>> Stuck on the Windows

someone deleted the system.ini files, "themes" files and
Win 98 locate lots of ".exe" and command files.  I need to
reinstall Win 98, I think.   Can it be restored somehow
and can it be done manually or do I need the Win 98 disk??

there used to be a window where i could choose a user from

I had my PALM connected to my PC via the COM1 port. All of
a sudden it stopped working. The HotSyncManager
application of the PALM is unable to recognize the COM1
