Dear Helpgroup,
I would like my Windows 98 SE Computer to boot faster, or know that it is
doing the best that it can.  I have tried to speed it up, but only have
modest success.  It takes 145 - 150 seconds to boot up.

When I run "regedit", the regedit box appears for about
one second and dissappears. Does the same thing with
msconfig as well. What's the cause of this? Never has

My pc with W98 will reboot on its own.  Sometimes at first
startup it will reboot continually. It will then reboot
less often and finally stabilize and sometimes remain
stable for several hours.  Sometimes it will start and

My friend's computer con not start up the computer request

Can anyone tell me the function of the file IconRA.exe which runs at bootup.
I see that it is in both the WINDOWS folder and in an Iomega folder for a
portable flash memory. I have been unable to get any info through a google
search.

for a while now when moving from window to window or
playing the CSI adventure cd rom, my pc has has been
displaying a box saying this program has preformed an
illegal operation and will shut down there are 2 buttons
