After installing a simple commercial program from a reliable vender my system crashes every time I use windows explorer in any way. SFC finds SETUPX.DLL may be damaged. Problem is that system crashes when trying to install that file from 98 disk..

A few days ago I put a whole new innards into my Uncles PC because his hard disk had died - it was a Quantum drive and i suspect that its' death was programmed into the firmware - in the hd's' IDE board but, I won't go into that here !
