Hi, is it possible to do as the topic says, display Chinese/Japanese without
getting the Japanese or Chinese version of the OS itself?  Because whenever a
file name that's in a language that doesn't use english characters, it gives
me either questions marks, or boxes and it won't ...

Using Windows98 I continue to get Rundll32.exe error in KRNL386.exe, explorer
errors, and fatal OE exception in KRNL386.exe. Your help would be greatly

I have been trying to find out why my resources are so low, even on a clean

I have several quick launch icons on my tool bar but they are on the area
where previously the icons for open files were shown. And the icons for open
files are now shown on the left where previously the quick launch item were
shown.

I just reformatted and did a clean install of Windows 98 SE on an old Dell
computer.  It has on board sound... Soundblaster. And it puts this
Ensonique Mixer in the system tray. It's starter.exe. So I uncheck it in
msconfig, but it comes back every time I reboot. After unchecking ...

I have win98 on drive C and XP on drive D.  After removing a virus, I can no
longer choose system at boot up, computer goes direct to XP and gives me no
choice or menu. How can I repair this?

Hi, i have a workgroup network with quite a few pc's. some are using windows
95, some are using 98 and some are using xp. The server computer has xp
installed on it. My question is why is it that some computers cannot see the
server (pc1), yet they can see others?

I am having the same problem as others with the image preview in my Windows
98 Explorer not working, and I tried Doug Knox's fix, but it unfortunately,
didn't work.

I was on my computer the other day and I was uninstalling the "Sidefinder
Toolbar" because it was getting annoying, and when I clicked "Add/Remove",
the computer froze up.  After a few minutes, I restarted it, and it went to
