Is there a way to disable the "yes or no" confirmation dialogue box from
regedit when importing registry entry?? Is there any switch to do this when
invoking Regedit?

I have a Win 98 SE with all patches installed. When I tell it to shut down,
it always restarts instead.  What might be causing this and how can I fix it.

When I try to boot up i get two missing files...Windows 98. The files are :
vredir.vxd and dfs.vxd. Unfortunately I do not have a Windows 98 disc.
Where can I get these files from ?

I have a problem with my kernel32.dll file.  I have been unable to set up a
USB card reader to work properly, and I also cannot run Scandisk from the
Desktop (it returns an "insufficient memor" message even though I have 256MB
of RAM installed and running Mem at the DOS prompt ...

I have suddenly lost two of my 4 partitions on my desktop PC (win98SE) and
the system has gone a bit wobbly. Fortunately I have a laptop (winXP) and
have transferred most of my files from the Desktop to it.
My plan is to reinstall win 98SE as a clean install and reinstall the
Windows 98 starts up in safe mode and will not go back to normal14 Oct 2004 05:11 GMT1
I got an error message that says no more stack pages. It may be necessary to
increase the setting of 'MinSPs' in SYSTEM.INI to prevent possible stack
faults. There are currently 5 SPs allocated. I do not understand where I am
supposed to make the changes. Can someone help  ...

Norton, Spyware, etc. - restarted - but it keep appearing.

I never tried scanreg /fix,until I happened to see it in a post here
and got curious.I've always backed up and tinkered with the registry
myself.
After running it  system.dat went from 5.1 to 4.9 megs and user.dat

Since installing SP2 My calendar doesn't appear at start up to show
appointments.  Calendar is still checked in start up menu. Any

When I boot up my home computer (win98) it stops, the message is, the sys ini
points to the following programs: c:\progra~1\carbon~1\ccw32.vxd and
c:\progra~1\symantec\symevnt.386 if ou deleted these programs accidently

I installed a new motherboard and everything went ok, except when I boot up
my CD-ROM drive is not available.  It appears in the CMOS settings under IDE
Secondary Master, but it isn't available after the system fully boots.  What
have I missed doing?

I have installed a new motherboard and now my CD ROM drive is not recognized.
The CD-ROM is properly identified in the CMOS as IDE Secondary MAster, but
after fully booting it does not appear anywhere.  What have I screwed up?
