I'm using 98 and would like to know if I can delete a certain file.
It resides under " c:\windows\local settings\application
data\microsoft\outlook " and is called ' outlook.pst '.
I know it is a logging file of sorts (i personally dont subscribe to the

At random times when im playing a Cd-ROM game or im just
surfing the net, the mouse goes all over the place. If i
stop moving my mouse it stops. If i move just a little bit

This seems like a good freeware program, but I don't understand something
about its use (it's not really explained clearly).
It says you don't need to run it, but every time I click on it, it loads the
database and then says it is protected.

When I use regedit to modify a value, I can't save it. I do not have a save
function. Is it something that I turned off? How do I save changes when I
edit the registry. TIA

Some how a variety of the Win98 help files (including Troubleshooting
diagnostics) seem to have gone missing! I have tried to re-install Win98,
but with near disasterous results - taken me a week to get my machine back
to "normality" - i.e. where it was before I tried to re-install! ...

Earlier today Windows Explorer went ratty causing a lockup. After the
forced cold boot, I've lost the line in the Recycle bin drop-down to clear
