Upon start up I get the following error message:
Explorer: This program has performed an illegal operation
and will shut down.
Explorer caused an illegal page fault in module

I recently installed software, and when it was installed,
I had lost my right click menu. In its place was a small
window sort of thing with buttons to close, maximize,
minimize, or resize a window.  I immediately uninstalled

At startup I keep getting an error message saying
wmicore.dll is missing. What is it, where can I find it to
put it back, and where does it go? Any help would be
greatly appreciated.

Hello there, I am not sure if this is an IE problem or
not, but as of late,Windows Media Player will not allow me
to back out of a site after viewing through media player.
I have to exit the site totally and then open IE(ver 6)

I have windiws 98 for some unknown reason all I have in
my resulation selection is 2 colors & 16 colors when I
used to have them all 256 & 32 bit colors can some one

Does anybody know how to prevent W98SE to power off after shutdown? I
prefer the system wait in 'It's safe to turn off the computer'
It's an ACPI motherboard, and I cannot disable ACPI in bios.
In devicemanager there is an 'ACPI interface', but I can't disable it. I
