I had some 472 viruses and avg removed them but it also removed a lot of
.exe files.  I have taken the iexplore.exe file and put it on a floppy and
put it back in the program files/internet explorer, now it works fine again.
What do i do about all the other programs?

When I try to restore a file over the LAN from a .bkf file, I get error
message:
       "Error occurred while reading the media. Media cannot be read or
contains unknown media format."

Can anyone tell me what the subject means and how to fix
it? Had a crash and loaded the Gateway restoration disk...
this was the message tha I received.

from Win 98 to 98 SE?  I have an older computer in my shop

Running Win 98SE on P4.   Since downloading updates from Microsoft and Zone
Alarm,  Nero reports Win-Aspi file missing, error 12 - I believe this is
wnaspi32.DLL.   I cannot reinstall Windows because none of the drives work
and it will not shut down without turning the computer ...

Has anyone ever heard of winking.exe.....it is in Windows
System....I have done a search on it and come up with
nothing.  I have a feeling this is the program "working in

When I start computer and desktop loads, I get "this
