windows 98 won't boot properly. Midway through bootup,
computer hangs and says : Illegal operation will be shut
down,details :explorer has caused an invalid page fault
explorer.exe at 167:00401f31. When using startup command

Have Win.98SE and when I try to bring up Word 2000 all I
get is the license info and it will not load.  Have
uninstalled and reinstalled with the same results. Any
help appreciated.

Hi. Windows explorer constantly stops responding. Not
clear at all why but i usually have other windows open at
the same time as explorer. No error message, just "not
responding" when i cntr-alt-del. Incredibly frustrating.

Somehow I've eliminated a number of fonts which I use
regularly.  How do I get these back?  What resources are

how can i recover the files in the hdd as i do not wist to 'repair' the MB?

I can't change my display settings on my computer. When I
try to, it doesn't respond, and I have to close it using
Ctrl+Alt+Del because the hourglass won't let me do

screen comes up and says that i need more "STACKS." it
says i have only five stacks and that i need more. someone
please HELP????
