When right clicking anywhere to access the drop-down menu, I find that the Create New File/Folder option is missing. This had happened recently and restoring a previous registry has not helped. Any suggestions? Thks.

After reinstalling windows, everytime I restart the computer I get a message that a new hardware devise has been found. I let it search for a driver, which is never found, so I cancel out of the process.
