Suddenly when I click on 'MY COMPUTER' it takes much longer to load than
normal, as if the system is doing something else first. My virus checkers
have not yet helped. I have also cleaned out cookies and temp files. Any

I just replaced my CD ROM drive.  The new drive I bought is a generic Dynex

Not sure why, but when I click on a link in an email, the website opens in a
totally minimized window.  All I can see is the address and the
minimize/maximize/close buttons.  Why is this and how can I make it open in
a window that is at least of some size other than minimized?

A coilleague is forced to use Word 2000 (...he is only in two days a week on
