I installed new PCI Ethernet internet card (Belkin). Computer sees new
hardware, but asks me to put in Win 98 CD to find files to install new
device. Unfortunately I dont have a Win 98 CD!! Does anyone know where I can
download Win 98 from another computer, and burn to CD to use?

I installed DirectX 9.0b but I shouldn't have since my video card

i had this issue before. somehow one day it allowed me to start in safe mode
and get to start menu. i deleted the files with pwl in it.
it worked ok afterwards. but  IE6.0 kept having serious popups. i used a few
ad programs including adaware. it helped. but still had some. well ...
