I thought dogpile was a legitimate search engine, but today
I tried accessing it and got a connection refused message...

i have two monitors installed correctly,
winxp, i can see my desktop expanded in monitor 2,
all is ok, but
i want reboot and select diferent users in every monitor,

When I run scandisk and defrag my computer locks up. Windows 98se. I tried to
run scandisk in safe mode and got a meessage that scandisk ghad to restart 10
times because another program was writing to the disk. but everything was
shut down and I was in safe mode. Can anyone help ...

I just replaced my hard drive and re-installed WIN98 and WIN98SE.  I had

i get a long winded msg saying i have a duplicated device in my system.ini
file, the one specified  is vcd. ive searched for the system.ini file and
found only one instance of it.

Is there a way to see if a *.dll file can be safely deleted? I thought

Is there a way that I can set the default for viewing images.
Previously when I double clicked on an image it opened in the default
windows viewer.
I have recently installed quicktime, and it now defaults to Quicktime
