Volume control is missing.
I'd like to get the volume control back.

Everytime I start my computer a box comes up asking me for my password.  I
select either "OK" or "Cancel" and my desktop loads.  Is there anyway to
eliminate this step?

i am running windows 98se on a celeron 2.6 ghz with 512 mb of ram on a home
network with dsl. everytime i boot up i go to press enter it doesnt actually
hit ok until i press it several times. even the blinky text line gets frozen.

it is asking him to type in a Command Interpreter,e.g.
C:\Windows,no joy with that, any idea what is required to

Every time I try to start my computer I get an error message just before
windows loads. It is a msgsrv32 error and says msgsrv32 caused an invalid
page fault in module MPR.DLL. This cause my windows to stop loading and all i
can do is ctrl,alt,delete. I cant even shutdown ...

I have a CD that I acquired and have loaded it into my hard drive. The
problem I am having is that when I check the CD and the copy I have on
my hard drive it comes up to 1300Mb of data and I cannot copy it to
another CD. I cannot copy the CD directly as it has a bad file on it

Despite religiously following the instructions for setting up ICS, my client
computer will not connect to the internet. The network works fine, but the
client computer will not even ping on the internet.

Hi, i am using a computer which i have recently bought. it is a very old
machine and i am using it for dos purposes. When the computer is loading, it
always asks for a password. i usually click on cancel and carry on. my

Despite following the instructions to the letter my client computer will not
