Been awhile since I have used Win98SE and can't remember how you can turn
off the popup screen asking for name and password!

I try to install drivers from a disc and/or the internet and my computer
doesn't even look at the drive- it doesn't look at C or D! it just says no
driver found- any ideas?

I have the newest version of AVG on Windows98.  Since I installed the new
AVG I have had problems.  I can't scan disk.  It hangs during the scan, the
BSOD comes up & when I try alt, control, delete my computer just shuts off.

partition I'm using for my data shortly after I install Windows.

When you look at the Windows directory in DOS, there is no "Temporary
Internet Files" directory, nor a "tempor~1" directory.  Why not?

I have an Investware Take Stock 4 program that updated until several months
ago and now when asked if I want to update and I click Yes, it starts and
then freezes. The company has not been able to help. Any advice?
