When I try to create a New Folder I get the following:
Explorer Illegal Operation. Explorer caused an invalid page fault in
MODULESHDOC401.DLL at 018F:5001F4F8. Can anyone advise on the fix for this

I get the following error message when trying to open Excel.
"Windows Installer failed to istall the program associated with this file.
Please contact your system administrator"
Any suggestions as to what I need to do to correct this problem?

I want to upgrade my version of IE to the latest in Win98, but every version

Hey, I recently removed the Protoworm virus that was on my other computer,
when i restarted the computer, Norton antivirus said that Unwise.exe has a
trojan virus in it, so i quarantined it.  Then the next thing i know, every
program i run, it asks for Unwise.exe.  I cannot even ...

I cannot scroll using the mouse wheel in IE or any other ap.  Yesterday no
problems, today no wheel action.  Any suggestions?  Thanks,

I have win98se and run AVG anti virus.
Recently just about every time I start, System Registry Checker says it has
found a problem and will restart and fix etc....
On restart it does the same thing!

After mangling Marlett yet again, I followed Microsoft Support's article on
replacing the Windows default fonts. I found (not surprisingly) that many of
my apps couldn't find or recognize fonts anymore. I remember running into

I want to save individual audio CD tracks to spearate files
on my computer.  I've tried it with my old Easy CD Creator
v4 which came with the computer, Windows Media Player 10 and
I've even tried Nero on my work XP.

Using Mendocino PPGA mobo, Celeron processor and w98se, both ps2 mouse + ps2
kb does not seems to work at boot up. Fix a working PS2 mouse to the pc, to
no avail and also dont seems to get a response when hit enter on the kb.

When I run Nero-6 (NeroStartSmart) and click on "Make Video CD" and then add
a video file and click "Next", a page appears which asks me to select a
background, a layout and a text for my "VCD Menu".
