I've got a windows 98 machine.
Yesterday, I had started the shut-down procedure, when my little boy ran in

When i sign in i get this message.
There is a problem with your display settings. The adapter type is
incorrect, or the current settings do not work with your hardware.
I have reset the settings in control panel many times and restarted the

Have an aged pc...when switched on got a page referring to File
Transfer......so deleted the file FILEXFER.EXE from hard drive. However, now
when pc switched on get a note, The item FILEXFER.EXE that this shortcut
refers to has been changed or moved etc.

My systray.exe works fine lots of icons and the clock n the bottom toolbar.
Just of a matter of interest is this application located just in the
windows/system folder or should there be a shortcut to it. I would have
thought it also might show up in the close programme ...

Ok, i have a little problem, on one machine i have win98 and on another
machine WinXP. Problem is that i can not connect to winXp with win98 using
dial up conecction. User name and password are OK.

I'm having mouse problems.
continuous clicking and non responsive.
I though it was the firewall but I updated it and it is still happening.
AVG anti virus shows nothing unusual.
