My son who is visiting us seems to have picked up a virus of some sort on his PC. Whenever he logs onto the internet, it runs ok for a few minutes and then closes him down.

When attempting to open msconfig or regedit, they will not stay open. They appear for a split second, then immediately close. I suspect that something malicious is in my system that won't allow me to access them. Please help!
