Whats going on with tis newsgroup?, about 5 days ago i posted a question in
the printing section of windows 98 i already receive a notification that an
answer was posted, but i've trying to check it for the last 36 hours (at
least) and been keep getting the "page not available at ...

Have worked on this problem before but decided to just live with it. Just an
extra click during start up.

I want to re-install Win 98 SE on my son's PC. I have the original Win 98 SE
Cd but have no Product Key. It is an OEM version.
Can the product key be found somewhere in the Registry??

How do I open a DOS window in Win98se ? Windows help says Click
Start>programs then click the msdos prompt., which I don`t seem to have. I
can`t for the life of me remember how I used to do this.

I understand that the new version 7 will no longer work on anything other

Computer looks like every thing is going OK and then the first screen
displays there is an error in magsrv32, and just hangs there.
Put the startup disk in and booted up and the command
A:>scanreg /restore
