Wait 'till you hear this one!!
I have an older home built pc running W98 from a client who said it
would only boot to safe mode. I brought it to my shop and everything
worked fine (I couldn't NOT get it to boot normally). Just for the hell

I have windows 98 on my current computer and am going to buy a new computer
with windows XP.  Can I transfer files from the old to new computer (such as
Excel, Word, Norton) or should I buy those already installed on the new
computer.  I hate to pay for new ones if i don't need ...

Has Anyone Any Idea What This Program Is???????

I get an error message every time I boot:
"Error starting program.  A required .DLL file IOREADY.DLL was not found."
I'd love to get rid of this message.  Thanks for any help!

It seems to cause no harm, just hangs around.

I am about to configure a new PC for someone and have been told that there
maybe issues with using 98 with fater processors.  The one in the new
machine is an AMD Sempron 2200.  Anyone know if this will cause a problem?

Everytime i boot my PC it starts and runs scandisk. I do shut the sytem down
properly.
Any advice would be appreciated.
