I am going to install Office XP but I wanted to make sure not to have extra fluff from the installation along the way. Can people help by giving me pointers on the best way to have a clean install without too much extra garbage and features that I will not use. Thanks in advance.

This evening, after rebooting my computer because the screen "froze," I discovered that ALL of my AOL "favorites" have been lost, in ALL screen names. Can anyone help me find and restore them?

Sometimes audio will not work. There is no particular pattern to it except to say its not a lead problem or dirty socket. Even the warning bells etc go. Resetting the computer brings them back,...any idea what is going on? Thanx,..Jason

I'm having problems trying to get 'shortcut keys' to work, in Win98SE. Sometimes, (only, sometimes) I can get them to work, intermittently, when set-up in a Start Menu item, but, after a reboot, they'll always fail. Does anyone have a solution for this most vexing problem?

Am trying to re-load win98 but am getting not enough memory This is imppossible since I show plenty of unused memory on my har drive. I also disablefed my virus protection with same result.

If I may drop in....... and I dont know how to use this version of "Ghost" in my w98se, so I am trying to uninstall the above. I use the "uninstall" but it give me this message "Uninstall log folder not found.

Ok, Win2k lied to me. I told Win2k setup to upgrade my machine from Win98SE to Win2k and goto NTFS too. Well, it only partly listened...Its now NTFS, but it did a clean install of Win2k. So most of my settings for programs are not available because they reside in the old user.dat
