I have established a home network between my two computers.  I can do file
sharing but I can not use the printer at the machine with XP. It says
"Printer is offline " and "User Intervention required".

I added (Trend Micro) PC-cillin Internet Security 2005 to my Windows 98
computer with P2-350 processor and 192 MB of RAM.  It's slow to start and the
slowness increases with other apps open.  Previously, it could also
experience slowness when it had McAfee Internet Security 6.0.  ...

My mother-in-law was having problems with her resolution settings and
decided the way to solve the problem was with her recovery disk.  Now it is
asking her for a code (I presume it is the Windows98 cd code), but she no
longer has that disk.  What can I do to help her?

When you run the command promt under win98SE/me/2000/XP,
you get an option to select which font to use.
How can I ADD more fonts to that selection?
The one I need is not offered.  I can ADD fonts

Some of the desktop icons have little white shortcut overlay arrows on the
bottom left. Tweak UI does not eliminate them as it should. I had this

   I haveWin98SE and I cannot start WMP. how do I uninstall and reinstall
WMP. It is not listed in Add/Remove program list.

I am using windows 98se. At startup there is a microsoft networking titled
window. There is my name there(which i have used when I was registering) and
wants a password. I did not set up anything like this and I want to get rid
of this pop up window. I did not enter any password ...

either a particular folder or file and to set a password?  All I want to do
is have password control over selected folder(s)or files(s). TIA.

computer quit going into standby mode.  When I went to put my computer in the
standby mode the choice was not there!  It's done this before but I can't
