I want to upgrade from Windows 98SE to Windows XP. I have 2 hard drives, C and D. The D drive contains lots of ebooks, music, movies, televsion shows, ect. which I would like to retain on that drive. Is it possible to upgrade to XP without erasing all the files on D drive?

Can anyone please tell me what it is? It is in my Add/Remove programs. Something to do with yahoo IM ? I removed Yahoo IM as I think it was making my system lock Up.

I hope someone can help. I am running windows 98se - when i am surfing the net or doing anything, it constantly locks up or freezes. I click to open something and it takes up to a minute before it registers. It keeps doing this more and more? any suggestions? Thanks,
