I had 2 machine both run the same OS(Win98) & office2000 Std. Why one machine
able to save JPEG format in ms paint the other can't? Anyway to change it
able to save as JPEG format in Microsoft Paint. Pls advice.

I posted a question on 10/23 about if there's a rootkit detector made for

Opening any window on my computer freezes the system.  Not even Control Alt
Delete will stop it.  I have to reset the computer.  Double click the my

Hello, I was wondering if there is anyway to repair one of the corrupted
files in Window Explorer in WIN 98 without having to completly re-install.  I
have switched out my "explorer.exe" file so that is not the problem, I'm
pretty sure it is not a corrupted registry problem ...

I'm trying to help my mother over the phone to begin to back up her registry
in WIN ME.  Could someone please provide me the path to get to that location
