Hello - I am finding that I am very very regularly
(but not always) getting the "Please wait while
setup modifies your configuration files" message

I thought it was specific to one machine, esp when I got the

Just did a repair install to fix a cd rom issue.
When viewing windows as web pages the window icon (L/H top corner)appears
