Why doesn't Win98 SE, abide by the 'folders view' selection? It seems to always default to 'web style". There is no chaining said OS to display 'custom' view, in which, 'Open each folder in the same window' _and_ view folder in 'classic' style. Windows just doesn't seem to

I thought it was specific to one machine, esp when I got the SuperTalentFlash.com driver to work correctly on a seconf W98 machine. Except a few days later the second w98 machine didn't recognise the USB flash drive any more.

Just did a repair install to fix a cd rom issue. When viewing windows as web pages the window icon (L/H top corner)appears large with no blue shading behind it and large lettering for the folder name.
