I want to upgrade the OS in my HP Pavilion 6465 PC (Circa 1999) from Win 98
First Edition to Win 98 Second Edition so that I can install a 4 port High
Speed (480 MHz) USB 2.0 card (Belkin F5U220) .  Is this a big job?

I have a Gateway 610xl media center pc and I've lost all my audio.
Constantly get the message "waveout format not supported" when I try to
listen to music on Musicmatch or other formats. Any ideas?? I don't
have the restore CD for

(Y/N)?", early in the boot sequence just after the primary and secondary

Why doesn't Win98 SE, abide by the 'folders view' selection?  It seems
to always default to 'web style".  There is no chaining said OS to
display 'custom' view, in which, 'Open each folder in the same window'
_and_ view folder in 'classic' style.  Windows just doesn't seem to

I thought it was specific to one machine, esp when I got the
SuperTalentFlash.com driver to work correctly on a seconf W98
machine. Except a few days later the second w98 machine didn't
recognise the USB flash drive any more.

Just did a repair install to fix a cd rom issue.
When viewing windows as web pages the window icon (L/H top corner)appears
large with no blue shading behind it and large lettering for the folder
name.

Our canon printer has been printing incorrect colours for a while, when
printing pictures it looks like one of the colours is missing.
I have done a test by using a word document, and giving each line a
different font colour.
