I am on Win98SE and have installed into a large server case my employer gave
me.
It uses the older power button and to turn the computer on I need to push

I frequent this group often.......    buuut.
I'm wondering if any here spend any time figuring out life itself
as opposed to the inner workings of the computers that vast
arrays of "companies" offer to keep you otherwise occupied.

A Compaq can boot into Safe Mode but hangs (desktop wallpaper but no icons;
