I have a  Foxconn 760GXK8MC-S type motherboard which has a built in SoundMax
chip four the audio. I use Win98se and Windows XP. The sound works under
Windows XP and worked under Win98se too. I receintly made some changes under
Win98se and the sound is lost.

I am running Win98SE on partition c: and WinXP Pro on partition e:  From the
boot loader, when win98se is selected, I get an error from "shell" about not
finding krnl32.exe.  I believe I had a virus and have cleaned my machine from
several sources.  Luckily I have WinXP to do all ...

How do I  get rid of the clipboard that pops up in the middle of the screen
and I constantly have to close or move?

Last year I tried installing a new HD and accidently wiped out my old one in
the process of partioning.  Of course when I tried starting my computer, all

A fellow I know is getting the following error: Internet Explorer caused an
invalid page fault in Kernel32 dll@ 0187:bff886df.
He can get email in OE but when he opens IE (the only browser he has) he
gets the above error and clicking okay or the x (top right corner) closes

Sounds familiar? Well I hope you don't get, cause I have no laptop now. Any
suggestions? Had 98 with a clean install of 2000. (Of course did the AVG and
avast and found 2 seperate trojans and other usual before I did the 2000
install.)
