Older versions of PC-DOS (e.g. PC-DOS 3.2) had the dos level command "comp" to compare the contents of two files against each other. For example comp a:report1.txt c:\mystuff\report2.txt. How do you compare two files in Win98 FE?

1st. off, I do not wish to use a different broswer. Often times, I will click on to a link from an open Page of IE, and the whole page just hangs. I might have only 4 IE windows open at the most.

Isn't there a control somewhere to allot more of your memory to be used for on-board video? I did a fresh install of WIN98SE, and my on-board video resolution is only 640x480x16 colors (4 bit). Mfr tech notes say this means I only have 256k allotted to video.

I have Windows 98 running on an IBM Aptiva computer. Whenever I make a connect with a dial-up ISP Internet Explorer starts up. But I don't like IE and use Mozilla Firefox. This means I have to close IE and then startup Firefox.
