Just curious to know why it is so difficult to purge a system with Norton System Works on it. I was able to install Ghost, 2003, but I had to remove System works..I thought I removed it completely.

Greetings from a newbie. On a Dell P3, 500 MHZ, 384MEG, backed up, wiped clean, reinstalled 98 everything ok except, USB ports don't work, thus printer and USB mous don't work. Looking at control panel, have yellow question mark for:

I notice that Win98 cannot see the only floppy as drive "A" but insists that is drive "B" although the bios only sees "A". I have temporarilly "worked around" this by changing the label of a shortcut aimed at "B" to "A". Any better solution?

How do i find the ip addreess in Win 98? If i am behind a wireless firewall...(DLink 524) will the computers ip addresses change after it is shut down and rebooted? I want to allow access to my home network without using a range of ip addresses.

If I have Win98SE and wish to install WinXP Home on the same computer and HDD, what do I need to do? I have the WinXP Home CD. Do I have to clear or make another partition on my 120GB Maxtor HDD before I try it or will the WinXP Home CD do it for me?
