have a Win98 system that kept getting Invalid System Disk so i put in a boot disk and did sys c: and now when it boots it just goes straight to a command prompt c:\> and if i hit F8 it gives me the menu than when i choose safe mode or normal mode it says "Windows is bypassing ...

I have been having trouble with scandisk for a while now, but only in my hard drive C and not in the removable drives...so I'm wondering if anyone else knows what's going on and if there is a way to uninstall scandisk and reinstall it to fix the problem its having?

When I boot Windows 98 I get the error message "Error in C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\NvCpl.dll Missing entry NvStartup." Can someone tell me what the problem is, and how to fix it? Thanks

From my anti-virus software I receive a notice that a vulnerability has been detected on my PC (windows 98). The message is; Vulnerability MSOS-050 To delete it you must apply the patches that fix the vulnerability. My question is where do I find that patch.
